Magazine layout

The layout of my double page spread was inspired by an article in Q magazine, as that is a close style to the magazine I am trying to replicate, and I liked the idea of the photo's joining up at the top of the page. A bonus to this was that it allowed me to see the basic conventions I should be trying to use in my magazine. For my contents page and cover I used an old issue of mojo magazine as it may be from a slightly different genre but it is also a relaxed style of magazine, and I found the cover appealing.
