Language in my magazine

When I analysed existing magazines I found a mixture of formal and informal language used depending on the style of the article found that the regulars of the magazine used more loose English and slang whilst the special features on the bigger artists where more formal and used stronger grammar. One exception of this was in the interview with Robbie Williams in Q which used a lot more slang, to represent Robbie’s personality and mannerism better. I thought that this was effective, and so tried to use a mix of it throughout my article with the switches to make the reader feel as though they can go and talk to the band themselves.
